PRISM is a Brooklyn-based contemporary production company and creative studio founded by Tom Rossano and Elliot Kealoha Blanchard. By combining visionary artistry and cutting-edge technology, PRISM offers its clients the ability to tell stories across disciplines, stretching from traditional commercial and branded content, to emerging technologies such as VR, as well as interactive live experiences and installations.

Tom Rossano, Executive Producer and co-founder of Prism, has learned in life to look at everything as an opportunity. Whether it’s mentoring younger producers or keeping abreast of emerging technologies and how they can be used to better tell a story, Tom focuses on positive growth. Armed with a background in science, Tom entered the world of advertising with the mind of a problem solver, the desire to become a creative collaborator, and the drive to make ideas physically manifest.
The bottom rung of his proverbial career ladder began with a job as a PA. From there he filled nearly every role instrumental in building a sturdy production foundation, leading to an Executive Producer position at Hungry Man and Partnership at Station Film. While Tom held these leadership roles, the companies won numerous Cannes Lions, including the Palm d’Or and the first Titanium Lion ever awarded. Throughout his journey in the ever-changing industry, Tom focused on the stories, knowing that a good story needs a good storyteller, no matter what type of technology comes along.
The hard-earned fruit of Tom’s professional labor is a hands-on attitude that is present with every creative at Prism. Tom and his co-founder/partner Elliot Blanchard were motivated to form Prism by their drive to always try new things, to always work harder and to genuinely support the growth of talent around them. The company is guided by an ethos of collectively using everyone’s varied individual experiences and nimble, creative capacities to effectively help their clients tell their stories.
Elliot Blanchard not only thinks outside of the box, he creates work that reflects his ability to turn bold ideas into reality. Whether he is creating traditional ads, unique motion design, interactive work or short films, his work has the uncanny ability to both create and satisfy curiosities you didn’t even know you had.
He’s turned the human voice into wearable art for an event at Oracle; his first app “VR Loops” helps users create their own virtual reality worlds, which can be shared via animated GIF, and his immersive 360 visual experience for HP, which debuted at the Panorama Music Festival, brought thousands of festival goers on a journey through time and space in a 69 foot dome.
Whether Elliot is working within two or three dimensions, everything he touches ignites awe, joy and amazement, morphing the role of passive viewer into active participant. The animated shorts he recently helmed for Barney’s acclaimed Holiday Windows were alive with graphic splendor, using traditional animation, throwback CG, and vintage analog effects.
Elliot has worked for clients such as MTV, IBM, Vitamin Water, GE and Unicef. He has been featured worldwide, and has appeared in Communication Arts, The Creators Project, The Today Show, Architectural Digest, Vogue, Animation World Network, Make, South By Southwest, The Palm Springs International Film Festival, WeTheUrban, and Elektro.
After establishing Invisible Light Network, a motion design, interactive, and installation project studio, Elliot chose to move forward in his career with the goal of forging a next generation content studio; soon after, he co-founded Prism with Partner and EP Tom Rossano.
